Stade Brestois was one of the worst teams in the league last season, and it was a miracle that they escaped relegation. The Pirates lost 16 times in the league, but three wins from their last four matches were enough to keep them in the Ligue One for another season. With compact teams like Le Havre and Metz gaining promotion to the Ligue One, this might be the season that Brest FC gets relegated. There hasn’t been much transfer activity for the Pirates, and it would be very difficult for them to compete with the team available to Eric Roy.
